Thanksgiving. Haven't had Thanksgiving at my Nana's house in 15 years or so. It was the first time in 10 years that Joe spent a holiday with my family. We didn't disappoint. And we love Aunt Din Din! :)

Today we met Audrey II. It lives on the next block over from us. The kids haven't seen Little Shop of Horrors yet, but it's on our Netflix list.

Ryan went and got himself a girlfriend. Her name is Faith.
And now I've got George Michael stuck in my brain.

Finally made it to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk last Saturday. I promised the kids we would go for their birthdays. Two months later we finally went. Whoopsie. Skyler was still a little short to ride some of the rides, but tall enough to ride most which made her greatly happy the little dare devil that she is. Ryan wasn't tall enough for much. We all were able to get on Loggers Revenge however. Twice. And although Ryan looks mortified, he loved it!

We also made it off the boardwalk to the actual beach. Skyler soaked up the sun and was living up to the role of your typical blonde California beach babe. We couldn't get her out of the ocean for long.

Ryan got knocked down twice by the waves and called it a day.

So I like taking pictures of the sky on my way to work for some odd reason. The sky seems to be so pretty at that time. This one on closer inspection bugged me out however. Can you see why?
